How long are the sessions?
Each one-on-one session is 60 minutes long for the initial evaluation and 50 minutes long for the follow up sessions. Please come 5 to 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment so we can run on time. If you are running more than 5-10 minutes late, please call to let us know.
How should I dress for the session?
Wear comfortable clothing, such as shorts and a tee-shirt that gives easy access to the area that we’re going to focus on.
How much do the sessions cost?

The Initial evaluation is $225, and follow-up visits are $200. Payment is due at the time of service (Cash, Check, Visa and Master Card accepted). You will be responsible for any interest or attorney fees incurred for collecting any unpaid balances.

Do we participate with insurance?
Masset AC & PT Center does not participate with any insurance plans, and is not enrolled in the Medicare program. We will provide you with an itemized receipt that has all the necessary information for you to file with your insurance company. Be advised that some health plans may require pre-certification, prescriptions and/or referrals for reimbursement of physical therapy and acupuncture services. There may also be other plan restrictions and/or visit limits. It is your responsibility to know and meet the requirements of your insurance plan.
How do I schedule an appointment?
You schedule your appointments directly with Michèle Masset by calling 202.429.0007 or emailing her at [email protected]. For each session a reminder email is send to you one week prior to your appointment. If you have a busy schedule and need some specific times, it is advised that you book your appointments 3 – 4 weeks in advance.
What is the cancelation policy?
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment (business day only/weekend not included), otherwise a cancellation fee equal to the amount of the session will be charged. This fee is due upon the next visit (or no later than 30 days if the patient does not have appointment) and cannot be billed to insurance.
Do I need a referral & a prescription?
The District of Columbia no longer requires a physician’s referral or prescription for physical therapy or acupuncture care. Regardless of the D.C. requirement, some insurance companies will require a physician’s referral or prescription to process your claim. It is recommended that you check with your health insurance about their physician’s referral policy. If a prescription is required, you are responsible for keeping it current.
What is our medical record or legal fee?
A minimum fee of $100 will be charged to send requested documents for legal purposes.
What are the COVID-19 Protocols?

I will be able to see you as long as:

-You are feeling well (no fever, sore throat…).

-You have not been exposed to a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the last 2 weeks.

– If you have not been vaccinated or for any intra-oral treatment, you will need to have a Covid test before each treatment.

What you need to do for the appointment:

-You need to wear a KN95 mask.

-You need to sanitize your hands upon arrival.

-You will need to wear 2 layers of clothing: One for the treatment (short and tank top or T-shirt) below and the upper layer that would have been in contact with the outside.

– Upon arrival you will need to take off your shoes and the upper layer of clothing in a separate room from the treatment room to keep the treatment room safe for you and me.

Here are the changes that I have made to maintain a safe and healthy environment for you and me:

-I and my immediate family are FULLY VACCINATED

-I have reduced the volume of patients and maintain a 15 minutes interval between each appointment.

-I will sanitize the treatment room completely between visits.

-I will wear a mask during the session with you

-I have air purifiers in the treatment room and in my suite
